| Q |
When will the snowplow come by my house? |
| A |
In a snow/ice event the procedure is to first open the main arterials to allow access to emergency vehicles. The secondary streets and downtown areas are opened to allow travel by school buses and citizens. The residential streets are opened as soon thereafter as weather will allow. Snowplows can do their best work when no vehicles are parked at the curb. |
